As a Senior SDK Developer at Wirepas, you will be at the forefront of shaping our Wirepas Mesh SDK development and delivery, while ensuring its seamless integration into our wireless mesh network. Your pivotal role involves not only hands-on development but also the practical SDK release. You will apply your expertise to provide clear SDK APIs, related documentation and examples, as well as own the SDK release and delivery pipeline.

In this role, you will transcend traditional SDK development by delving into the complexities of wireless mesh networks. Your insights will be instrumental in guiding the development team through examples and best practices, fostering an environment of innovation and efficiency.

We hope you will be located with the possibility to visit the Tampere office to facilitate active participation and on-site collaboration with the team.

As a Senior SDK Developer, you will be responsible for

• Taking control of the SDK release process, ensuring timely and seamless releases.
• Ensuring consistent API definitions and configurations, ensuring clarity and efficiency in the development process.
• Collaborating with the Mesh development and Customer support teams to streamline development processes and enhance the efficiency of SDK deployment.
• Understanding the intricacies of wireless mesh networks and their integration with SDKs.
• Providing examples and guidance to the developers on the utilization of APIs in the SDK.
• Ensuring technical API documentation for the SDK (Doxygen used today), emphasizing clarity and completeness.
• Focusing on high-performance SDK development, optimizing code and processes for efficiency.

For this role we are hoping you to master   

• Proven experience in SDK development or use of relevant SDK such as Nordic Soft SDK or Silibs Gecko suite.
• Hands-on experience in API definition, configuration, and development.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices, such as Bitbucket pipelines and integration for SDK deployment.
• Strong commitment to quality, both in development and documentation.
• Experience in release management and version control systems by Atlassian and GitHub.
• Understanding of real-time operating systems.
• C and Python programming languages.
• A good domain of spoken and written English.
